MY story
Dexrar arrived with us a few months back with his 3 siblings. It's taken Dextar a bit longer to get ready for adoption, but now he is thriving.
What his foster mum had to say:
Dexter is a beautiful, expressive but somewhat shy at times puppy. When he first arrived with us, he was already making amazing progress but has continued to thrive with the help of another Romanian rescue. He has learnt some basic commands, sit, etc, and is very food driven, so training comes somewhat naturally. He can be quite excitable around meal times, so he is crated when we eat and when the dogs eat. Dex does this willingly and with no fuss. Fully crate and toilet trained, he sleeps from 10pm to 7am in his crate and can be left for a few hours without any issue. When Dexter gets to know you, he really shows you his goofy and warm side and gets to express being a puppy, which is so lovely to watch. He is quite shy around new people, especially masculine energy, but shows no aggressive behaviour whatsoever. Dexter has discovered his love of a muddy walk and the beach! As long as he's with a doggy pal, when we have attempted to walk him solo, he very quickly makes his way back to the house. We are working on his individual confidence.
Warning, though. When Dexter looks at you with his beautiful brown eyes and expressive eyebrows, you might just fall in love! And when you've earned that first full trusted lap cuddle, you will never want to move again. He's a real sweetheart.
MY PERFECT HOME
Dexter must live with at least one other dog. Cats should be fine on slow introductions and kids 8 + please.
You must have your own secure and private garden with 6ft fencing minimum.
As with all puppies, Dexter will need ongoing training.
