MY story

Koko found herself dumped as a stray and taken to the council pound. She had run out of time there and if we didn't take her she would be put down.

Koko is a gorgeous gentle funny girl, whose learning to be less of a tank on the lead and was lucky enough to land herself a foster and has been there the last few months, she's been doing so well and really loving the company and the fuss, shes relaxed into it all beautifully.

They have been working on her lead training as she can be strong and starting to work soon on meeting dogs out and about and being calmer.

MY PERFECT HOME

She will need to be the only dog/pet in an adult home and her training will be on going. She has about 4 million tonnes of love to give and will be someones bestest friend when they meet her.

You may notice that Koko has a slightly odd shape to her head so the vet checked her over. Fortunately its nothing to worry about and likely to have been a defect she was born with.

Her foster parents have said:

She has settled down really well.
In the house she is clean, no accidents.
After her morning walk, she lays about wherever we are most the time, sleeps on her bed at night & occasionally sneaks in to sleep on floor beside our bed....her snoring gives her away!
She is very cuddly & gentle & loves her toys
Knows basic commands...here, sit, down, wait. She was easy to bath too!
Outside She does walk ok on her lead & long line....but she can be quite bouncy & does pull & lunges which we are working on. She just wants to play. This is a work in progress. She does jump up at visitors & wants fuss...but is a bit big so we are teaching her not to do this too. On the whole she is such a lovely girl & easy to love!
